PAUL 'BEAR' BRYANT
DATE OF BIRTH: SEPTEMBER 11, 1913
Bear Bryant played football at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. After serving in World War II, he became head coach at the University of Maryland and Texas A&M University before settling at his alma mater. During his 25 years at University of Alabama, Bryant coached the team to a record-setting 323 wins.
