USING WINTER BREAK WISELY.............

1.
WAKE UP EARLY. NOTHING EATS AWAY THE WINTER BREAK LIKE MOPING  AROUND BENEATH THE COVERS. DECIDE THE PREVIOUS DAY WHEN YOU WILL GET OUT OF BED, THEN MAKE SURE FOLLOW THROUGH.

DURING THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF VACATION, CHANCES ARE THAT YOU WILL RELISH THE OPPORTUNITY TO SLEEP IN. ITS OKAY TO DO THIS AND GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK, BECAUSE YOUR BODY WILL NATURALLY PUT ITSELF ON A SCHEDULE TO WAKE ITSELF UP EARLIER.

MAINTAIN GOOD HEALTH AND HYGIENE. BRUSH YOUR TEETH AND BATHE OFTEN. MAKE SURE TO USE SUNBLOCK EVEN IN THE COLD, AND REMEMBER THAT THE ONLY HEALTHY TAN IS SPRAY-ON! WINTER IS A GREAT TIME TO GET IN SHAPE, OR STAY IN SHAPE. CONSIDER PICKING UP A SPORT OR AT THE VERY LEAST GET OUTSIDE AND HAVE FUN EVERYDAY.

STUDY. PARTICULARLY IF YOU ARE A HIGHSCHOOL STUDENT, STUDYING REMAINS ESSENTIAL EVEN THOUGH THE SCHOOL YEAR IS IN SHORT RECESS. LOOK OVER LAST YEARS NOTES, OR DO SOME RESEARCH INTO WHAT NEXT YEARS COURSES HAVE IN STORE.

1. WHAT DIRECTION DO YOU SEE THE U.S. GOING? WHY IS IT GOING THIS DIRECTION?
-I SEE THAT A LOT OF THINGS AREN'T WORKING OUT AND IF THEY KEEP IT UP THEY ARE GOING TO COLLAPSE.  

2. WHY DO SAT SCORES IN THE U.S. CONTINUE TO GO DOWNWARD?
-MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT TAKE THE SAT AREN'T PREPARE AND SOME DON'T CARE ABOUT IT.

3. WHAT ARE SOLUTIONS TO LOW SAT SCORES?
-THERE COULD BE SOME PROGRAMS TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE SAT.

4. MAKE A BULLET LIST OF A FEW PROBLEMS WITH EDUCATION IN CALIFORNIA?
-LACK OF DISCIPLINE
-BAD FOOD
-LACK OF ENCOURAGEMENT
-LACK OF INTEREST

5. WHAT ARE SOLUTIONS TO THE CALIFORNIA EDUCATION PROBLEMS?

SOME OF THE SOLUTIONS CAN BE TO ENCOURAGE AND TO BE MORE STRICT ON THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS.

6. "TO EDUCATE A MAN IN MIND BUT NOT MORALS IS TO EDUCATE A MENACE TO SOCIETY" (THEODORE ROOSEVELT)

REFLECTION:  THIS MEANS THAT WITHOUT US HAVING CHARACTER WE ARE GOING TO BE INCOMPLETE. WHICH MEANS THAT TO DEVELOP OUR CHARACTER WE WILL INCREASE OUR EDUCATION.

REFLECTION: THIS QUOTE MEANS THAT AS WE GET OLDER WE ARE GETTING PREPARE TO FACE OUR FUTURE. THIS MEANS THE PATHS THAT WE TAKE WILL DETERMINE WHETHER WE ARE ABLE TO PUSH OURSELVES TO SUCCEED OR WE FAIL MISERABLY. MANY OF US WAS TO BECOME SOMEONE IMPORTANT BUT, TO GET THERE WE ARE BEING PREPARE AND WITH THAT WE WILL ACHIEVE HIGHER.

Bear Bryant played football at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. After serving in World War II, he became head coach at the University of Maryland and Texas A&M University before settling at his alma mater. During his 25 years at University of Alabama, Bryant coached the team to a record-setting 323 wins.
